2021 was 7 Mile Advisor’s 13th year of consecutive growth as the firm further cements its position as a leader in digital transformation investment banking. Coming off the heels of a strong 2020, the leadership team saw an opportunity to further “lean in” and capitalize on market tailwinds and accelerated new talent joining the workforce. The demand for digital transformation drove M&A activity across the IT Services and Tech-enabled Business Services ecosystem, as companies were forced to migrate to a more digital world. From industrial automation to e-commerce solutions, this trend permeated nearly every end market and drove the valuations for services and products that could solve complex business problems to all-time highs.
Throughout 2021 7 Mile Advisors had the opportunity to support business owners who were exploring their “next step”, whether that be divesting a business unit, bringing on growth capital, partnering with a strategic acquirer, or pursuing inorganic growth through targeted acquisitions. Assisting these clients and helping them realize the monetary value of their business legacy is the “why” behind each and every one of our bankers across the globe. As we set goals for 2022 and get to work, we take pride in the ability to look back at another milestone year.
